Tata DAV School Noamundi opens for class 10 and 12

Noamundi, Dec. 26: Tata DAV Public School, Noamundi resumed classes for students of class 10 and 12 after nearly nine months, on Saturday, December 26. Following COVID-19 norms issues by the state government and CBSE, the school management insured safety of all. Medical team (Santanu Sahu, Niranjan Mishra, Aarushi Lohar, Sarojini Chatomba and Juli Lohar) including doctors from Tata Steel Hospital were present at the school and conducted RapCov Rapid COVID-19 Test of students of class 10 and 12, parents, teachers and non teaching staff. After their Corona test came negative students were allowed to enter the class. For the protection of students sanitizers and handwash were in place along posters making the students and teachers aware about the virus. Different entry and exit points were in place for the students and the school management ensured students followed social distancing norms. A school teacher Manas Mishra made the students and teachers aware about following COVID-19 precautions, maintaining social distancing, not to spit which would ensure of one and all.

DAV Principal Prashant Kumar Bhuiyan wished the students remain healthy and inspired them to put up a good performance in class 10 and 12 board exam. He also appealed the students and staff members who have visited a country where infection is high in the last 28 days to have COVID test done. Any child suffering from cough, cold and fever must also consult the doctor at the earliest.

Principal also urged the students to contact the school management if suffering from fever, cough and cold.
