Noamundi, Feb 12: Tata DAV Public School, Noamundi celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj on Friday, February 12. The DAV (Dayanand Anglo Vedic) schools came into existence in 1886 to realize the vision of Dayanand Saraswati.
Floral tributes were paid to the portrait of Swami Dayanand Saraswati amid vedic chants. On the occasion Principal of the school Prashant Kumar Bhuiyan shed light on the life of Swami Dayanand Saraswati who more than a religious leader was a reformer who left a deep impression on India. Also present were Devendra Kumar Dev, teachers Arvind Thakur, PK Das, Manas Ranjan Mishra, Jyoti Prakash Sahu and others.
