Jamshedpur, Feb 12: A case of gangrape of a young girl has been lodged at Birsanagar thana against two youths.
According to police reports, the incident took place on Thursday late evening, the young girl’s lover Suman Singh Rajput took her on the pretext of visiting his sister’s house and near an isolated place in Hurlung raped her along with his friend Sagar Mahali and when she resisted they beat her up and then left her at her house and fled away. She somehow reached Birsanagar thana to file complaint on February 12 morning.
Police conducted raids at the house of the two accused but both are absconding. Police sent the girl for medical examination at MGM Medical College and Hospital.
The girl has said that she had gone with Suman Singh Rajput alone but on the way friend of Suman, Sagar Singh Mahali also joined them on the bike and both the youths drank liquor on the way and also forced her to drink liquor and then took turn to rape her.
