Chaibasa, Sept. 18: Tata College, Chaibasa under research council organized a lecture on the recently published research book entitled ‘Indignity, Landscape and History’ written by Dr Ashok Kumar Sen on Saturday. The global edition of the book was unveiled in London on 25th July, 2017 and its South Asian edition was also published by London based Rotlage publication and South Asian edition will be available in India.
The book underlines the tribal of Jharkhand�s inherent relation with Land, Forest and Water. The book is not only important for tribe revelation but also for historian, anthropologists, sociologist, politics, social activists and bureaucrats as it deals with the ancient time to present day situation. On the occasion, Tata College Principal Kasturi Boipai welcomed the guests. Present on the occasion were teachers, Dr Padmja Sen, DN Champia, Ghaneshyam Gagrai, Sushil Purty, Dr RS Dayal, Dr Brojesh Kumar, Dr PR Sahu and others.
