Tata-Badampahar train chugs off after 11 months

Jamshedpur: Tatanagar-Badampahar DEMU departed 78031/78032 from Tuesday after waiting for eleven months. Vinod Kumar, Area Rail Manager, Tatanagar station, flagged off the train at 6 am . The first stop of this train is Haldia station at 6.55 am.

Whereas this train will reach Badampahar station at 10:30 AM and will leave for Tatanagar only after 15 minutes at 10:30 AM which will arrive at 2.40 AM in the afternoon. Many passengers traveled by this train on the first day. On the occasion of showing the flag to the train, the acting General Secretary cum Divisional Convenor of Men’s Congress Shashi Mishra and many senior officials of Union and Railways were also present on the occasion. MP Bidyut Baran Mahato has expressed happiness over the commencement of operations of Tata-Badampahar train.The MP had met the General Manager of the zone in Garden Reach and demanded that all local trains should start operating soon. After such demands Tata-Badampahar DEMU has been launched from Tuesday.
