Tata-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh train to resume operation from March 1: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut

Jamshedpur, February 18: Jallianwala Bagh train will operate regularly from March 1. 
This information was given by Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway, in the form of a reply to the question put by Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Varan Mahto in the meeting of ZRUCC today. 
It is noteworthy that the 102nd meeting of Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) of South Eastern Railway was held today at Vivanta Hotel in Kolkata. In today’s meeting, Jamshedpur MP spoke on various agendas of his Lok Sabha constituency. 
At the very beginning of the meeting, Bidyut Mahto raised the issue of resumption of Jallianwala Bagh train and Jammu Tawi Express. He said that it should be clarified due to which the operation of Jallianwala Bagh is not being done regularly. In response to the question, General Manager Joshi said that there is no hindrance in this and from March 1, it will be operated as before. Whereas with respect to the Jammu Tawi Express, it was told that the proposal for its re-operation has been sent to the Railway Board, from there it will be started as soon as it is approved. 
Apart from this, Jamshedpur MP said about increasing the frequency of Tata Yesvantpur, resuming the operation of Tata Alleppey Express, operation of Tata Buxar train, that East Central Railway approval is yet to come in this regard. 
In today’s meeting, MP asked to restart local trains whose operations are closed during the Covid pandemic . In addition, re-operation of Tata LTT Antyodaya Express, new superfast train service from Tata to Bangalore via Katpadi, new train service from Kharagpur to Jaipur, Rajasthan via Tata, Tatanagar to Jaynagar Bhaya Darbhanga direct train service, Tata to Bhagalpur rail 

The issue of Tata-Kandra-Namkum rail line, Chandil-Patmada-Bandwan to Jhargram rail line, Chakulia-Baharagora, Budhamara, Orissa, and Keonjhar railway line from Tata via Badam Pahar, construction of halt at Badkola between Dhalbhumgarh and Ghatshila, demand for giving Adarsh station status to Ghatshila station, stoppage of Ispat Express and Utkal Express at Rakhamines, as well as running Howrah Hatia Intercity Express daily via Tatanagar was also raised at the meeting.
 Along with this, the matter of construction of end to end road overbridge at Dhalbhumgarh Ghatshila, Galudih and Rakha Mines was also raised. At the end of the meeting, the General Manager of South Eastern Railway said to take action on all the matters as soon as possible and send proposals related to many matters which are going to be done at the level of Railway Board to the Railway Board. After the meeting. 
Today’s meeting was very important as this meeting is being held for the first time after the Covid period. Many important decisions have been taken in this meeting, which will benefit the passengers as soon as possible.
