Tarapore students portray dance styles from around the world

Jamshedpur, Feb. 10: Tarapore School organized the 16th Annual�Kg.�Parents� Night�on Saturday, February 8 in the school premises. The Chief Guest for the event was Deepa Verma, Tata Steel Representative in the Managing Committee of the school. The theme for this year was “Festivals Around the World.”�

The programme started with the safety pause. The Chief Guest inaugurated the event with the lighting of the lamp. The Chairman Bodhanwala, Vice Chairperson Rubina Bodhanwala, Principal Amy H. Billimoria, Vice-Principal Ishita Dey, and academic heads, were also present to grace the occasion.

The students performed dances from different places around the world portraying festivals celebrated in these countries. Through these dances the audience was taken to places like Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, America, Spain, Russia and our very own India.

The entire event was compered by the students themselves, even at the age of 5 to 6 years old. The guests and well-wishers praised the students for their smartness in putting up a programme par excellence and congratulated the teachers for training them well. A small skit was also put up by the parents who come for the spoken English classes in the school. The programme ended with vote of thanks.
