Jamshedpur, May 5: Tarapore School organised annual Appreciation Night for the students of primary department on May 4.
Chief Guest for the event was Farida Indorewalla, Director of Saizar Enterprise Pvt. Ltd.
The presence of Beli Bodhanwala, the Chairman of the school boosted the morale of the students.
The theme of the event was centered around the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore, the legendary poet, writer, and polymath. The students of Std V performed dance, song and poems written and composed by Rabindranath Tagore. Through the various performances and presentation the students spread awareness on the life and legacy of Rabindranath Tagore and how his works have inspired generations of students and scholars.
This year around 235 students of the primary department were awarded for Spoken English, Good Handwriting, 100% attendance, Best Endeavour, Good Conduct and Academic Excellence.
The highlight of the event was the announcement of All Rounder of the Year Award. The award was bagged by Sanvi Singh of class 5 for exhibiting outstanding performance in academics, public speaking and in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
The event was a fitting tribute to Rabindranath Tagore and his contribution to the field of education.
