Jamshedpur, June 23: Tarapore School, Agrico celebrated the achievements of its students in the middle and high school at the annual appreciation day ceremony held in the school auditorium on Friday. Dr. Deepali Misra, Consultant at the Tata Business Excellence Group was the chief guest for the occasion.
As the event began, a welcome address was given along with the lighting of the lamp. Ganesh vandana was performed by the students of class IX. The prize winners sang the song � I believe� followed by the pledge.
A motivational video was also put up by the students of Tarapore School. The awards were given out in various categories like Best Endeavour, Best Activity Club, Best Student Moderators of the Activity Club, Highest achievers, most responsible member of the Activity club, sustained improvement award, ICSE Toppers award.
A new award has been initiated, the Tushar Karti Bordan Award, which was given to Anjali Singh for highest achievement in Economics.
The B.P. Ferozshah shield for the best Activity Club, went to the Safe Club. The coveted Principal�s award for the Most Responsible Student of the school council was awarded to Akansha Priya Gandham, while The People for Change award for Sustained Improvement went to Aniket. All rounder award went to Deepanwita Paul for excellence in sports, academics, debate and elocution.
In the ICSE examination this year 123 students got 100% result out of which 10 students have achieved 90% and above. While 29 students have achieved between 80-89%, there were 13 highest achievers in each subject.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were the chairman of the school, B.D. Bodhanwala, the trustee Mrs. Rubina Bodhanwala and other guests.
Parents of the prize winners were also present along with all the students of the middle and high school.
