Jamshedpur: Members of the city-based NGO, Samadhan, supplied water to many Chhath ghats across the city situated in Kailash Nagar, East Plant Busti, Kanchan Nagar and Baba Kuti through tankers.
The tankers visited the localities where Chhath venues are situated with the view to help the devotees celebrate the festival with adequate water supply.
Devotees will be offering ardhya (obeisance) on the first day of Chhath tomorrow and the concluding day the day after tomorrow.
In the absence of water at the ghats, the devotees may face inconvenience, said the outfit members. The NGO will help the devotees throughout the festival.
