Jamshedpur, May 26: Swadeshi Jagran Manch Mango unit held a meeting to conserve the environment under its ‘Environmental Initiatives’.
The meet headed by Priti Sinha focused on the future events of the manch towards preserving the environment. A scheme was prepared which focused on planting saplings in Mango, preserving the trees along with water harvesting system.
‘More than 100 saplings will be planted from Mango to Dimna chowk and its proper care will be done. Around ten thousand saplings will be planted all around Jamshedpur within two and a half hour and a seminar will be organized on June 29 while a Sankalp rally will be taken out on June 4.
Tree plantation drive will be held from 1 to 30 July’, said Sinha. The members of the manch have been told to select the places were saplings will be planted.
Present at the meet was Gourav Shankar, Abhishek Bajaj, Amarnath Singh, Lala Joshi, Rajesh verma, Meena Prasad, Bunty Sharma, Anju Srivastav, Mahadev Prasad and others were present.
