Gamharia, Nov 29: A Scorpio SUV (number: JH 05BT 9587) belonging to Burudih resident Madhav Pati was stolen from the guest house of Shree Cement near Vinayak Garden close to DVC Morh in Adityapur police station command area on Sunday night. Owner of the stolen vehicle, Madhav Pati had an FIR registered at the Adityapur police station.
The Vinayak Garden CCTV camera footage revealed that the theft occurred at 10:30 pm. The driver of the Scorpio had parked the vehicle at the guest house at 8:30 pm and gone off for rest. The SUV was fitted with a GPS but the car lifters had disconnected it.
Pursuing the case, the police questioned the driver and the security guard on duty at the time of the incident at Vinayak Garden. The nearby toll booths had also been informed.
