Chaibasa, Sept. 5: Surajmull Jain DAV Public School celebrated teacher’s day with great enthusiasm on Tuesday. The function was organized by teachers of DAV. An educationist Dr Padamaja Sen was felicitated for her excellent contribution in the field of education.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Sen said that Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the many facets personality and is recognized as one of India�s greatest philosopher.
Sen expressed regret and said that new generation does not want to become teachers. The Principal Rekha Kumari said that the Guru takes a child from the path of darkness to the path of enlightenment.
Another teacher Anupa Kumar said that though there are many ways to gain knowledge but without teachers it remains as incomplete. A chorus song was also presented and havan was conducted in the school.
