Chaibasa, Sept.14: Surajmull Jain DAV Public School celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ with great enthusiasm and held a
special prayer to mark the occasion on Thursday. In her speech, the principal Rekha Kumari said that it is
e x t r e m e l y unfortunate that after 70 years of independent, Hindi has not been conferred the status of Rajya Bhasa. The present government is appearing to be sincere in propagating Hindi language. Now Hindi language is gaining popularity even in southern states. One of the teachers MB Singh said, in the year 1949 Hindi was given the status of Raj Bhasa in our constitution. Hindi is one of the richest languages in the world. On the
occasion, many activities were organized to promote Hindi Language in the school.
