Jamshedpur: Tribal Cultural Society has come to the aid of 31 financially needy engineering aspirants belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories by helping them get engineering coaching at one of the leading coaching institutes of the city, Prerna Classes.
To launch the intervention, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed yesterday between the Tribal Cultural Society and Prerna Classes, Jamshedpur at Tribal Culture Centre, Sonari.
Biren Bhuta, Chief CSR, Tata Steel, Urmila Ekka, Hony Secretary, Tribal Cultural Society, Vikas Tank, Founder Prerna Classes and Pramod Dubey, Director Prerna Classes were present at the occasion along with the 31 engineering aspirants.
Out of the 31 students, 10 will undergo one year course offered for 12th pass while 21 will get coaching for two years offered for 10th pass.
