Jamshedpur, Sep 28: Tata Motors has announced a key management change, appointing Sunil Kumar Tiwari as the new Plant Head for its Jamshedpur facility, effective October 15. Tiwari, currently serving as Senior General Manager of Plant Operations at the TMCV Pune Plant, will now oversee operations at the Jamshedpur Plant, reporting to the Vice President of Operations.

This reshuffle comes as Ravindra Narasimha Kulkarni, the previous Plant Head at Jamshedpur, has been transferred to Pune as Senior General Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. Tiwari, who rejoined Tata Motors in 2023, originally started his career with the company as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in 1996. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in various roles at Tata Cummins, Ashok Leyland, and UltraTech Cement.

Additionally, Anurag Chharia, another Senior General Manager in Manufacturing Engineering at TMCV, will also be transferred to Pune as Senior General Manager of Plant Operations for CV Works. These changes are part of a broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency within Tata Motors.

The official communication regarding these appointments was issued by CHRO Sitaram Kandi.
