Jamshedpur: City-based NGO Jan Satyagraha today met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal and handed over a memorandum addressed to the governor to him making suggestions for providing various facilities at Babadham, Deoghar, to prevent stampede during the Shravan Mela.
He said the government should give permission to VIPs only during Shringar and Sarkari Puja ceremony.
He said control should also be exercised on the priests inside the Garbha Griha to save time of visitors.
