Jamshedpur: SUCI (CPI) today launched a statewide protest with a five-point demand including all hospitals will have to admit GOVID and non-COVID patients and provide proper treatment, labourers and farmers who have been financially hit during the lockdown period should receive compensation for hospital treatment, stop privatization of railways and other public sector undertakings, security for women and total ban on liquor. SUCI (CPI) also included in their demand that the central government should withdraw the Farm Bills. SUCI members held their protest rally at the Sakchi roundabout. The party�s state committee member Dhiren Bhagat said on the occasion that the agitation for the five point demand was launched today and if the demands were not met within a reasonable period of time, nationwide protests would be organized by the SUCI. The Jamshedpur unit secretary Amit Roy, Sohan Mahto, Yudhishthir Kumar, Sumit Roy, Patit Paban Kuila, Rinki Bansriyar, Ambika Mahto, Khushbu Kumari, Soni Sengupta, Devendra Mahto, Mukul Mishra, Amit Sao and many other activists were present during the demonstration.
