Jamshedpur, July 2: The new session of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Dalma commenced on July 1, marked by a ceremonial event held at United Club.
During the program, outgoing office bearers formally handed over responsibilities to the newly elected members for the 2025–26 Rotary year.
Rotary Club reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare, especially for the deprived and underprivileged sections of society. The organisation pledged to continue its work across its seven core focus areas—peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention and awareness, clean water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, community economic development, and environmental protection. An action plan outlining initiatives in each of these areas for the coming year was also presented during the event.

The central aim of the Rotary Club, speakers said, is to bring a smile to every face in society through meaningful service. The club aspires to achieve 100 percent of its targets across all areas in the 2025–26 session.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Rotarian Mukesh Taneja and Dr. Bhavana Taneja, Assistant Governor Rotarian Kusum Thakur, and Guest of Honour Past District Governor Pratim Banerjee. Newly elected President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Dalma, Mrs. Suchismita, Secretary Vishal, presidents and secretaries of various clubs, and board members were also present.
