Successful joint operation targets Naxalite Organization in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum 

Jamshedpur : In a coordinated effort, top leaders of the banned CPI (Mao) Naxalite organization, including Misir Besra, Anmol, Mochhu, Chaman, Kande, Ajay Mahato, Sagen Angriya, and Ashwin, along with their squad members, have been targeted by a joint campaign team comprising Chaibasa Police, Cobra units, Jharkhand Jaguar, and CRPF teams.

The campaign, initiated on 10th October 2023, focused on villages like Kuida, Chhota Kuida, Maradiri, Meralgada, Hathiburu, Tilaiyabeda Boypaisang, Katamba, Bayahattu, Boroy, Lemsadih, and border areas under Tonta police station.

During operations in the Tonta region on 25th and 26th November 2023, security forces successfully prevented a Naxalite attack by recovering and safely disposing of a planted bomb near village Rajabasa. Three Naxalite hideouts, including Thandamat and BHPKMV structures, were destroyed in the forested/hilly areas of Tilaibera and Rajabasa.

Materials recovered from the Naxalite camp include firearms, explosives, medical supplies, and daily use items. The ongoing anti-Naxal campaign remains vigilant in ensuring the safety and security of the region.
