Student’s scholarship deprivation accusation against Hemant Soren

Ranchi, December 29: Even as Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren has taken credit for transferring the amount of Mukhya Mantri Maiya Samman Yojana to beneficiaries in record time, BJP leader Babulal Marandi has accused him of depriving students of scholarship.

After coming to power again in Jharkhand, Hemant Soren is calling his government the government of every Jharkhandi. Hemant Soren is taking responsible for fulfilling the dreams of the people of the state and on Saturday announced of transferring the enhanced amount (Rs 2500) of Maiya Samman Yojana to over 56 lakh beneficiaries and fulfilled his promise of transferring the amount in December.

Hemant Soren also claiming to open good schools in the state. But, amidst all this, BJP state president Babulal Marandi has made serious allegations against the Hemant government. Babulal has claimed that to fulfill the amount of Mainiya Samman Yojana, 34 lakh students in the state have been deprived of scholarship.

Babulal Manradi said in his social media handle on X that 34 lakh Dalit, tribal and OBC students in Jharkhand have not received scholarship for the last nine months, due to which the education of lakhs of children is in danger.

At the same time, he also said that the grains of green ration card holders are pending for seven months, due to which poor families are reaching the brink of starvation.

“The state government has been forced to snatch basic facilities like children’s scholarship, pension of the elderly and ration of the poor to pay for the Maiya Samman Yojana,” Marandi alleged.

Not only this, Babulal Marandi made serious allegations against the Hemant government, he said that development schemes have been stopped by surrendering the funds of the departments to collect the amount of the Maiya Yojana, due to which the pace of development in the state has completely stopped.

Babulal Marandi said that this is a proof of the economic mismanagement and administrative failure of the Chief Minister, which raises serious questions on the future of Jharkhand. He said that it is not right to sacrifice the rights of all other sections to satisfy one section of the society.
