Students rally for conserving wildlife

Noamundi, Oct.3: The Wildlife Week celebration began at upgraded middle school Nuiyan, Gua by Ghatkuri Iron Mines of Rungta Mines Ltd under the direction of Chaibasa forest division on Monday, October 3.

A rally was taken out by the students and staff of Rungta Mines in and around the Gua and Nuiyan village. The students holding placards made the citizens aware of preserving wild life and the animals living in the forests are our friends.

Some of the messages portrayed construction of fire preventive belt surrounding the forest then only we can protect the animals. It is our moral responsibility to preserve forest life to protect the environment.

Addressing the gathering, Mines Manger of Rungta Mines, Subhash Pradhan, said the step which is taken up by the forest department is commendable and the initiative would definitely bring awareness among the villagers to protect the wild life.

Present at the event was Rungta Mines officials B N Panda, AGM Logistic Falvinder Singh, CSR Manger Dularam Mohali, Rajeev Kumar Thakur, SK Kanaujia, BK Soi and others .
