Students pledge to make Samudayik Uchch Vidyalaya ‘polythene- free’ zone

Jamshedpur, September 30: Supporting the nationwide campaign against polythene, students of Samudayik Uchch Vidyalaya, Rahargora on Friday pledged not to use polythene in their daily routine and also make their school polythene-free zone.

During the programme conducted after the morning assembly, school principal Vijay Pratap Yadav and environmental studies teacher Shyam Kumar Sharma informed the students about the ill-effects of polythene and urged them not to use it.

Students supported the campaign and pledged to make their school ‘polythene free zone’ and connect the nearby residential areas and villages to the mission.

Students at the event said that they would inform their families and neighbors about the harmful effects of polythene and not to use the deadly product.

To make the event successful NN Ray, Ajay Kumar Singh along with school teachers provided their full support.
