Students must develop a habit of reading newspaper: JB Tubid


Chaibasa , Nov. 1: The two-day career counseling session entitled ‘Badte Kadam’ was organized by west singhbhum district administration for the students pursuing undergraduate program under the direction of TAC member J B Tubid at Tata college conference hall on Tuesday.

The chief guest TAC member Tubid inaugurated the session. Addressing the students, Tubid said, in the beginning of any work a few handful of people participate but when you advance millions join in your endeavor.

Citing the example of JP movement, Tubid said, the movement began with few participants but it grew bigger with time. He further said, an educated nation only can help in all round development.

The students must develop the habit of reading newspapers and develop the art of exploring the secret information lying in it which would increase their knowledge.

They also must have their self evolution that would develop self confidence. The officer must also explain the government scheme such as Ujjawala Yojna to the students which would help them to benefit the underprivileged, Tubid added.

DC Dr. Shantanu Kumar Agrahari said that though west singhbhum district is very rich but the people living here are very poor. After verification, I found that the students have not filled the counseling form properly and left the part of art, film, sports, business.

DC added that the tribe of west singhbhum would play a significant role in future of the nation. He further said, nation is not developed only by government servants but there is enormous contribution from the business class, cultivation sector, so students should also pursue their career in those field.

The nation also require moralists. DC asserted that the counseling events would be made historic and experts from various field would be engaged in the counseling to impart information to the students .

West Singhbhum SP Dr Michael Raj said that a counter should be opened in the district level in order to facilitate the information about Job and forms should also be available at the counter for the concerning job.

All thanked the TAC member JB Tubid who took the initiative for the first time in the history of the district and expressed deep gratitude to Deputy commissioner for extending full support to make the event a grand success.

Present at the event were Tata college principal Kasturi Boipai, Tata steel mines Noamundi administrator Mr Das, Noamundi BDO, Manjhari BDO, CO Sadar Chaibasa and others.
