Students made aware of tribals’ rights

Jamshedpur, July 23: East Singhbhum District Legal Service Authority, Civil Court, Jamshedpur, enlightened the students of Baradwari People’s Academy Model High School regarding the rights of the Adivasis under Nasla Scheme 7.

The authority organized a one-day free awareness camp regarding the legal rights and the conservations as well as the evolution of the Adivasis in the school premised on Saturday.

Chief guest and Legal Authority mediator cum senior lawyer Bimal Kumar Pandey enlightened the students on the rights of the Adivasis, Dalsa Scheme, fundamental rights of the citizens, domestic violence, child marriage, juvenile crime, dowry system, right to education and other related laws.

Other guests present on the occasion included lawyers Rupesh Kumar Sinha, Mousomi Chowdhry, P L V Nargendra Kumar, Usha Kumari and others.

The program began with a welcome song b the students, while Nagendra Kumar coordinated the program. Principal Chandradeep Pandey delivered the vote of thanks.
