Jamshedpur: The Students’ Cabinet of Jamshedpur Public School, Baridih, was formally installed in a ceremony organized in the school on Saturday.
The Cabinet member students were presented their portfolios by the chief guest for the occasion Ashok Ghosh, Manager, corporate affairs, Tata Steel. The principal Namita Agarwal congratulated the student leaders.
The students had been nominated by the principal and the teachers after which they were allowed to do e-campaigning for a week.
The senior students from class IX to XII cast their vote in secret ballot boxes on 11th July last and the counting of votes was done by the election officers (senior teachers) in the presence of the nominees, the teachers and the school principal on 12th July last.
