Student meet SSP, demand fair probe into Jamshedpur Co-operative Law College episode

Jamshedpur, November 1: Sweta Mahato, a student of Jamshedpur Co-operative Law College reached the SSP office on Wednesday.

She demanded an impartial investigation into the allegation of assault on the teacher. Sweta along with the student leader has reached the SSP office regarding this matter.

She told that someone had died at his house. For this she had gone out of the city. When she returned, she came to know that her viva date had passed. After which she first went to the exam controller of the college where she was told that Viva could be taken by talking to the Principal of the college.

She reached the college where the principal told the student to come the next day with her mother. When she went to college on Tuesday to meet the principal, teacher Sajeev Kumar Biruli started making a video of mother and daughter. When she protested, the student’s mother was slapped, due to which she suffered injuries in her ears and behind her ears. A complaint regarding this matter was lodged at Bistupur police station on Tuesday.

The teacher has also complained that the allegation of assault is false. Student leaders say in this matter that if action is not taken then students will be forced to protest.
