Jamshedpur, June 17: Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar conducted a review meeting focused on sanitation and cleanliness efforts within the city. Assistant Municipal Commissioners Aaqib Javed and Arvind Prasad Agarwal, along with sanitation contractors, Cube Company representatives, and municipal officials were present.
All cleaning supervisors were instructed to ensure that each tipper vehicle was tagged to a specific door-to-door garbage collection route. Strict directions were issued to ensure comprehensive garbage collection in all areas under the Municipal Corporation. Officials were asked to repair non-functional garbage vehicles promptly and to maximize household coverage. Cube Company was directed to employ adequate manpower to streamline operations.
Additionally, the citizens were urged to support cleanliness efforts, avoid using single-use plastics, and dispose of waste only through designated garbage collection vehicles.
