Stri Satsang Sabha re-election demanded

Jamshedpur, May 29: Days after Kamaljeet Kaur was elected President of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (Stri Satsang Sabha) for the third time in a row protest has erupted as several members of Stri Satsang Sabha called the election illegal and have demanded a fresh election from Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee authorities at Sakchi.

Sarjeet Kaur, President of Sonari Stri Satsang Sabha accused Kamaljeet Kaur and has called the reelection as the president illegal. Sarjeet said that Kamaljeet cannot be elected the president three times in a row as it is completely against the law; she had sent invitation letters to the members of the sabha who are very close to her at Station Road Gurudwara in Jugsalai and in the letter there was no mention of any election taking place but had invited to felicitate them, added Sarjeet.

At the same juncture Kamaljeet Kaur along with her supporters declared herself as the President of Stri Satsang Sabha which is completely unlawful and the procedure which she implemented is completely wrong, said Kuldeep Kaur, President of Burmamines Stri Satsang Sabha.

Protesting against the election President�s of Stri Satsang Sabha�s of Sonari, Burmamines, Bagbera, Kitadih, Sarjamda, Manifit, Azad Basti, Agrico, Sitaramdera and others demanded fresh election from President of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee.
