Jamshedpur, Nov 21: With the growing number of stray bulls and animals posing a threat to road safety and public order, the East Singhbhum district administration has launched a focused capture and survey campaign in the city.

As directed by the Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, a 10-member Special Task Force headed by the District Animal Husbandry Officer will carry out the operation.
The team will identify stray bulls, cattle and dogs, and tranquilise them to ensure safe capture without harm to citizens or animals.
All captured bulls will be transported to gaushalas for proper care and further action.
The administration has emphasized strict adherence to scientific and humane handling methods, with mandatory compliance to animal welfare norms during the entire operation.
Officials say the initiative aims to prevent road accidents, improve urban cleanliness and strengthen animal management mechanisms in Jamshedpur.
