Chandil: The roof of the guard room at the Sikli railway level crossing at Chandil was blown away by a storm on Saturday.
Many thatched houses were also rendered roofless in the storm in Chandil. A high-tension overhead wire fell on a mango tree in Gaon Janta Middle School in Nimdih block late Friday evening.
An electric pole also fell down in the impact.
