Jamshedpur, Aug 29: Swadeshi Jagran Manch has appealed to the Central government to take necessary measures to stop Chinese companies from making investments in Jammu and Kashmir. A delegation of the outfit members met East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla on Thursday and handed him a petition addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the petition, the outfit members have demanded that Chinese companies should not be allowed to participate in the Global Investment Summit going to be held in J&K.
The outfit members also staged a demonstration before the Collectorate in support of their demands. They included Janardan Pandey, Rakesh Pandey, Bande Shankar Singh, Amit Mishra, Anita Kumari, R Pathak, Sadhna Mishra and Vandana.
