Jamshedpur, Apr 5: D.B.M.S. Kadma High School organized an engaging Orientation Programme for nursery parents on 5 April 2025 at Kalakriti, the school auditorium. The event aimed to familiarize parents with the school environment, curriculum and teaching staff as their children begin their educational journey.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful prayer song, setting a serene tone for the day. Principal Gurpreet Bhambra warmly welcomed the parents, emphasizing the importance of early childhood education. “We believe that every child is unique and deserves a space where they can grow, explore and thrive,” she said.
A comprehensive presentation introduced the parents to the nursery curriculum, daily routines, teaching methods and the play-based learning approach adopted by the school. Teachers from the pre-primary section were introduced to establish a personal connection with the families.
Chairperson (Finance) B. Chandrasekhar addressed the gathering, wishing the children a successful tenure and sharing inspiring stories of alumni achievements. The session also featured key members of the school management, including Secretary Anita Ramkrishna and Joint Treasurer P.S. Aruna.
The orientation concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice Principal S. Shireen, marking a thoughtful start to a promising academic year.
