Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Slight drizzle and cloud cover from the last 24 hours in Jamshedpur and other parts of the state including Ranchi have increased frigidity.
According to Weathermen, coldness in the air will increase once the cloud cover is removed. According to information from Ranchi Meteorological Department, 2.2 mm rain was recorded in different areas of Jamshedpur during the last 24 hours, there are chances that cloud cover will remain intact for the next 24 hours and some areas of Jharkhand will receive slight drizzle.
Steel City recorded maximum temperature of 29 degrees while minimum remained at 17. Other city and town of the states have also witnessed coldness with the change in weather condition. Capital Ranchi, Bokaro, Chaibasa, Chatra, Palamu along with other districts of the state will have to brave out the coldness during the upcoming Chhath festival.
Several other districts, including Simdega, Hazaribagh and Deogharalso witnessed showers throughout the day. Inclement weather prevailed in most districts, including Ranchi. The local weather office there recorded light rain.With the onset of winter people all over the state have been made to pull out their warm clothes.
