State level kho-kho Gumla, Ramgarh and Seraikela enter finals

Jamshedpur, October 26: On day 2 of the ongoing state level kho-kho competition at Tinplate Stadium, 58 events of different boys and girls category was held on Wednesday. The contest started at 8 in the morning at continued till 5 pm.

After the conclusion of Wednesday�s event total of 16 teams have made it to the semifinal stage while 4 teams entered the final. The teams which have cemented their place in the semifinals include- in the under-19 girls category-Seraikela, Gumla, Bokaro and Ranchi.

In under-17 boys category Seraikela, Lohardaga, Bokaro and Ranchi, in under-14 girls Seraikela, Gumla, Bokaro and Ramgarh while in under-14 boys Lohardaga, Ranchi, Bokaro and Seraikela.

The teams which made it to the finals include Gumla and Ramgarh in under-17 girls category while Gumla and Seraikela made it in the under-19 boys category.

On the last day of the competition on Thursday all the winners in different categories will be felicitated. During the contest held on Wednesday, DDC Vinod Kumar, Director NREP Ranjana Mishra, DPRO Sanjay Kumar, Shyam Kumar Sharma, Akhileshwar Prasad, Sumit Kumar Mallick, Suresh Narayan, Yogendra Sharma, Pallav Dey, Ram swaroop Yadav, W Rehman and others were present and helped in the smooth functioning of the contest.
