State Congress calls executive meet on May 26 to analyse poll results

Jamshedpur : State Congress Committee president Sukhdeo Bhagat has called an executive committee meeting on May 26 to analyse the party’s performance in the Lok Sabha polls in the state The executive meeting will begin at 1130hrs at the Vidhan Sabha auditorium.

In the meeting party candidates on all the 9 Lok Sabha seats, district unit chiefs, vice-president and general secretaries of the JPCC will participate alongwith them the coordinators of the Lok Sabha seats and heads of the various other party organisations will also attend the meeting.

The party will also decide the future course of action to be taken keeping in mind the assembly election which are due in November-December, he added.

The UPA had contested elections on all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of the state out of which the Congress had fielded candidates on 9 Lok Sabha seats, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on four and RJD on one seat.
