Stage set for IPL Fan Park in Jamshedpur

Matches to be screened at Agrico Transport Ground on March 30-31

Jamshedpur: Steel City will host IPL Fan Park on March 30-31, 2024.The Transport Ground in Agrico (Jamshedpur) will the venue for cricket aficionados to enjoy IPL matches on big screens.

Total of three matches will be played over a period of two-days, said Anand Datar, Senior Manager (Operations), Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Addressing a press meet at Keenan Stadium on Friday, BCCI official informed that Lucknow Super Giants will face Punjab Kings in the first match on March 30. On March 31, Gujrat Titans will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first match at 3.30 pm while Delhi Capitals will be up against Chennai Superkings at 7.30 pm. “The matches will be screened on 32x18ft LED Screens to provide stadium like atmosphere for the fans. Apart from the recreational zone for the kids, dedicated areas for the disabled and elderly persons have also been made at the park, “said Anand.

JSCA official D Uma Rao stated that Transport Ground in Agrico will have a VIP lounge and food court as well. “We are expecting a crowd of around 10,000 during the week-end. The entry will be free, but visitors will have to register at the counter to avail a lucky draw coupon that will fetch a players’ signed IPL team jersey at the end of the match,” added Rao.

Also present at the press meet was JSCA committee member Ashish Sinha.
