St. Mary’s Hindi School dominates Jharkhand Handball Tournament in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Aug 29: The Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department of Jharkhand organized a handball competition at the RD Bhatta Center in Bistupur, featuring participation from four boys’ teams and four girls’ teams. The event was graced by the presence of Handball Secretary Khurshid Khan and DSO Avneesh Kumar Tripathi, who both motivated the young athletes.

In the boys’ category, St. Mary’s Hindi emerged victorious in the final match against Day Boarding, claiming the winner’s title. The girls’ category saw St. Mary’s Hindi replicate the success, defeating Day Boarding in the final and securing the championship, leaving Day Boarding as the runner-up in both categories. The tournament provided an excellent platform for young talent to showcase their skills and passion for the sport.
