St. Mary�s crowned overall champion of Ambience 2015

Jamshedpur, Oct. 31: In order to provide a common platform for students to showcase their skills in a plethora of events where they compete with camaraderie, �� DBMS English School hosted annual�inter-school event AMBIENCE 2015�on Saturday, October 31.

St. Mary�s English High School was awarded the Overall Championship trophy, while Loyola School bagged the first runners-up award.

There were six off-stage events and six-on stage events at �AMBIENCE 2015�. The off-stage events comprised �Tea Tym Snacks� in which teams were required to prepare healthy snacks through fireless cooking; �Clash of Kings� was a gaming event; �Sci Fi� tested the writing and imaginative skills of the participants; �Comic Con� was a comic strip making competition; students were required to show their painting skills in �Tee Splash�; and students had to make a working model �Technovanza�.

The on-stage events comprised �Masquerade� wherein the students had to step into the shoes of famous sports and political personalities and answer fiery questions in a mock press conference; this was followed by �Quizzaria� where the students had to use their wits; �Tech Crunch� was an interesting event where the participants had to Dubsmash; �Battle Royale� showcased their DJ skills. The event ended with the much awaited �Festa Danzante� a fusion dances and a fashion show �Glamourazzi�.

At the on-stage events, �MASQUERADE�: Winner was Loyola School followed by Hill Top School and KPS Mango. In �TECH-CRUNCH� : Winner was St. Mary�s English High School, 1st�Runner � up was Loyola School while 2nd�Runner up was awarded to D. A. V. School.

In �BATTLE ROYALE�: Winner was Sacred Heart Convent School while Dayanand Public School and KPS Mango ended as first and second runners-up respectively. In �FIESTA DANZANTE�: Winner�was Sacred Heart Convent and Runners-up was D. B. M. S. Kadma High School. In �TECHNO TALES�: St. Mary�s High School was the winner. Several off-stage events�were also organized including �COMIC CON�: Winner�was D. B. M. S. Kadma High School followed by K. P. S. Mango and Sacred Heart Convent School.

In �TEE SPLASH�: Hill Top was the winner. In �SCI ��FI�: Winner�was Hill Top School. IN �CLASH OF KINGS�: Winner�was D. A. V. School. In �TEA TYM SNACKS�: Winner�was Kerala Samajam Model School. In �TECHNOVANZA��Winner�was D. B. M. S. Kadma High School.

Earlier the event was inaugurated by DBMS Chairperson Mrs. Bhanumathi Neelakantan alongwith the members of the Managing Committee, and the Principal, Mrs Rajani Shekhar.
