Sreeleathers pays tributes to Kiranmayee Dey on 93rd birth anniv

Jamshedpur, May 5: Steel city residents along with the Sreeleathers family paid tribute to Kiranmayee Dey, wife of freedom fighter and founder of Sreeleathers, Suresh Chandra Dey, on her 93rd birth anniversary on Thursday, May 5.

Many dignitaries paid homage to Kiranmayee Dey along with the Deys and staff of the reputed footwear brand.
The homage function was organized at the Sreeleathers showroom at Kamani Centre, Bistupur at 8.30 a.m.

The dignitaries arrived in hordes to pay tributes to the wife of the legendary figure by garlanding her portrait. Kiranmayee Dey too is known for her contributions in making Sreeleathers what it is today.

Shekhar Dey, son of founder Suresh Chandra Dey and Kiranmayee Dey, offered floral tributes to her portrait and remembered her as a great personality. A large number of visitors kept pouring in at the Sreeleathers showroom throughout the day.

Speakers of the function threw light on the life and achievements of Kiranmayee Dey. They remembered her as an inspiration for many women and the generations to come.
