Jamshedpur: Late Suresh Chandra Dey Memorial Inter School Football Championship concluded at the football ground of SS High School at Karandih on Saturday.
It was organized under the aegis of Sreeleathers and Suryodaya National Social Welfare and Educational Academy as a part of the annual football event organized by Sreeleathers. The event was held for boys and girls.
A total of 10 middle and high schools participated in the championship. In the boys category, Shyama Prasad High School, Khasmahal, defeated Adarsh Middle School, Sarjamda, by 2-0 while in the girls category, Kasturba Gandhi Girls School defeated SS High School, Karandih, by 4-3.
The chief guest of the programme was Shekhar Dey, chairman of Sreeleathers. He praised Suryodaya National Social Welfare and Educational Academy for their social activities and assured to help them in their endeavours.
