Spirit of oneness will help us overcome Covid pandemic: Tata Steel UISL MD

Jamshedpur, Aug 16:  Tarun Daga, Managing Director, Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (Tata Steel UISL), hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of 75th Independence Day on Sunday. Due to Covid, gathering was small and all protocols were observed.

MD addressed the employees through the virtual platform and spoke about the importance of coming together as an organization in this hour of need. He thanked all employees for their relentless contribution of rendering continuous and uninterrupted services when most of the people were staying at home.

Daga in his address said, “We stand to celebrate 75 years of independence. The sacrifices, hard work, dedication, unwavering commitment of our leaders and the common man earned us freedom democracy liberty fraternity. Today we stand facing a difficult situation. A crisis but the sacrifices dedication hard work and unwavering commitment showed by all will help us to overcome this pandemic too. Thank you to our armed forces who work tirelessly at the borders to keep us safe.”

He also thanked the medical fraternity who too has been working tirelessly to save us from the pandemic. Our Social Organizations and our citizens have always come together and helped at this hour of need.

The Managing Director spoke about the glorious evolution of India at the Olympics and how we as a Nation have evolved.

He also reiterated the importance of wearing masks, washing of hands and social distancing as the threat of the virus is still not over and we are still awaiting the 3rd Wave.
