Jamshedpur, Aug 2: In a tragic incident, a man was crushed to death when a speeding dumper (JH05BE- 6503) hit his scooty near Burmamines Tempo stand in Jamshedpur on Monday. It was such a tragic death that ladies walking on the road started crying
Burmamines Police Station incharge Raju and other officials rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. However, the man had succumbed to his injuries by then.
The Police sent the mutilated body of the deceased for postmortem. The two-wheeler of the deceased for stuck under the wheels of dumper and there was a sticker of Civil Court at the front of the scooty.
The police have identified the deceased as Vinod Singh, resident of Parsudih Shankarpur. According to reports, Vinod Singh was returning home when the incident took place. There were several grocery items with him in the scooty which were scattered on the road. The dumper is reported to be overloaded with ink. The police have started investigation into the matter.
Jamshedpur is currently witnessing a surge in traffic accidents, most of which happen during the night, while the traffic police appears helpless.
