Jamshedpur: In response to the increased passenger demand, the South Eastern Railway (SER) has unveiled plans to operate special train services between Tatanagar and Ernakulam on specific dates. The special trains are scheduled for departures from Tatanagar on 05.02.2024 and 12.02.2024, while the return services will commence from Ernakulam on 08.02.2024 and 15.02.2024.
The details are : Train Number 08189: Tatanagar-Ernakulam Special, Departure: Tatanagar at 05:15 hrs, Arrival: Ernakulam at 01:55 hrs (third day), Stoppages: Sini, Rajkharswan, Chakradharpur, Goilkera, Jaraikela, Rourkela, Rajgangpur, and Jharsuguda in SER jurisdiction.
Train Number 08190: Ernakulam-Tatanagar Special, Departure: Ernakulam at 07:15 hrs, Arrival: Tatanagar at 04:35 hrs (third day), Stoppages: Sini, Rajkharswan, Chakradharpur, Goilkera, Jaraikela, Rourkela, Rajgangpur, and Jharsuguda in SER jurisdiction.
The introduction of these special trains aims to accommodate the surge in passenger numbers and facilitate convenient travel between Tatanagar and Ernakulam during the specified dates.
The departure and arrival times have been strategically planned to suit the travel preferences of passengers. The special trains will make crucial stoppages at key stations within the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction, ensuring connectivity to important locations along the route.
