Jamshedpur, Feb 25: Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) executive officer (EO) Deepak Sahay reviewed Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana (PMSY) with the representatives of various banks on Friday.

Addressing the bankers, Sahay said a special loan camp would be organized from 5th March to 15th March with the view to ensure speedy disposal of pending applications. He said there were several people who could not avail the benefits of PMSY due to apathy shown by certain banks. He said PMSY was an ambitious scheme of the Central government that needs to be taken seriously.

The EO appealed to all bank managers to give priority to vendors coming to them after somehow taking out time from their busy schedule. All roadside vendors are being given identity cards and Letter of Release (LOR) before being sent to banks.

The representatives of UCO Bank, State Bank of India, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank and Bank of Baroda were present during the meeting.
