Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur civic administration conducted a special drive near Sakchi Manokamna Temple and the Kashidih area to control stray cattle and ensure public safety. During the operation, two stray bulls were successfully captured by the municipal team.
Officials said the animals were safely shifted to the Tatanagar Gaushala, where proper arrangements have been made for their care and upkeep. The drive was carried out keeping in mind frequent traffic disruptions, risk of accidents and inconvenience to the public caused by stray cattle in busy market areas.
The Deputy Municipal Commissioner stated that similar drives would continue regularly in different parts of the city to address the problem effectively. Citizens were also urged to report sightings of stray animals or related issues to the municipal corporation so that timely action can be taken. The administration reiterated its commitment to improving urban safety and easing daily movement for residents.
