Jamshedpur, Aug 29: A special sports meet was organised at Bhalubasa Community Centre on the occasion of National Sports Day by Cheshire Disability Trust and Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East. Children from School of Hope, Asha Kiran, PATH, Cheshire Home, PAMHJ, Ganodaya Noble Academy, Deepjyoti Blind School, and the National Association for the Blind enthusiastically participated in events like Shot Put, Running, and Walk Athletics.
Chief Guest Ganesh Rao of Krishna Murari Charitable Trust encouraged the participants, while Inner Wheel Club President Dr. Meena Mukherjee and other dignitaries were also present.
Winners included Priyanshu Kumar (Asha Kiran – Shot Put), Anand Barda (100m Senior Boys), and Neha (100m Senior Girls). “The event built confidence and fostered inclusion through sports,” said Rajkumar Singh, Secretary, Divyang Margdarshan Trust.
