Special Ayodhya-Tatanagar Aastha Express train from Jan 29

Jamshedpur, Jan 23: Railways and IRCTC have announced a special Aastha train service for pilgrims eager to visit the newly built Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Aastha special train will operate from Tatanagar to UP Darshan Nagar station, bringing joy to devotees in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas. Notably, similar special train services have also been introduced from Bokaro and Ranchi.

The timetable for this special train service between Ayodhya and Tatanagar has been officially released. The Tata-Darshan Nagar Express, facilitating the pilgrimage to Lord Ram’s abode, is scheduled to depart from Tatanagar station on January 29th and February 19th. The return journey from Darshan Nagar to Tatanagar is set for January 31st and February 21st.

The train, equipped with 22 coaches, will make stops at various locations. Train number 08019 will depart from Tatanagar at 11:50 am, reaching Darshan Nagar at 3:20 am the following day. The return journey from Darshan Nagar will commence at 8 am, arriving at Tatanagar at 11 pm. Stops along the route include Chandil, Purulia, Rajabera, Bokaro Steel City, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Varanasi, Jaunpur, and Akbarpur.

Reports suggest that the special train will consist of 20 sleeper class coaches, covering the 758 km distance in approximately 16 hours. The train will make scheduled stops at Chakradharpur, Purulia, Koderma, Gomoh, Bokaro, and Mughalsarai stations. IRCTC has ensured passenger amenities, including water supply at stations like Purulia, Gomoh, and Mughalsarai. Additionally, IRCTC will provide food and beverages on demand during the journey.
