Special assembly on Children’s Day at DAV NIT Adityapur

Jamshedpur, Nov 14:  DAV Public School, NIT Campus, Adityapur celebrated Children’s Day on November 14, 2025, with a special morning assembly attended by students and teachers. The programme began with three chants of “Om” and the Gayatri Mantra, followed by the prayer song “Humko Man Ki Shakti Dena.” Students presented the DAV Gaan, took the school pledge and paid tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Through the ‘Importance of the Day’ segment, the significance of Children’s Day was highlighted. Students from Class VI and the junior section performed songs and dances, while shloka recitations added a spiritual touch. Principal Rekha Kumari delivered an inspiring address, urging students to follow Nehru’s ideals, believe in themselves and strive for success. The programme concluded with the Shanti Path, completing the celebration on a harmonious note.
