‘Darshan Nagar Aastha’ special train to Ayodhya on Jan 29 and Feb 19

Jamshedpur, Jan 16: In anticipation of the historic consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, preparations are in their final stages, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiling a mega plan to facilitate devotees’ darshan of the revered site. The formal inauguration, set to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries, will mark the opening of the Ram temple for devotees.
As part of the elaborate arrangements, the BJP has announced the operation of the “Darshan Nagar Aastha” special train, responding to the demand from railway enthusiasts. The train will depart from Tatanagar station on January 29 and February 19, providing thousands of devotees the opportunity to witness the grandeur of the Ram temple.
During a joint meeting at the Lok Sabha level on Tuesday, held at the Manas Auditorium of Tulsi Bhawan in Bistupur, key BJP leaders outlined the details of the pilgrimage. The meeting was attended by MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, former MP Abha Mahato, former State President Dr. Dineshanand Goswami, State Minister Rita Mishra, BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Gunjan Yadav, Rural District President Saurav Chakraborty, District Council President Bari Murmu, Zila Parishad Vice President Pankaj Sinha, and other senior party leaders.
The Aastha special train, comprising 20 bogies, will depart from Tatanagar station at 11:50 am, reaching Darshan Nagar at 3:20 am the following day. Devotees are required to register with their Aadhaar card and other necessary documents, receiving identity cards upon selection. Passengers are advised to arrive at the station two hours before departure, bringing warm clothing and bedding.
The round trip fare for the Ayodhya visit has been set at Rs 1300/-. This includes provisions for food, water, and accommodation from boarding the train until the return journey. The BJP has taken responsibility for arranging stay, food, and all necessary facilities for the devotees. Each bogie will have an appointed chief to oversee the journey.
During the meeting, Mandal presidents were provided with Rambhakta reservation slips for the upcoming pilgrimage. The BJP’s initiative aims to facilitate a seamless and spiritual experience for devotees eager to visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.
